Kanye West Talks His Adidas Deal, Having More Kids And Premieres ‘Only One’ Video (VIDEO)

Kanye West swung by The Ellen Degeneres Show and not only dished on marriage and his Adidas deal but also world premiered his new video for his Paul McCartney-assisted single “Only One.”

When it comes to marriage, Kanye says Kim K has changed him for the better.

“I’ve definitely learned how to compromise more which is something you have to understand when you partner with people in business and I’ve learned how to shut up more,” he laughed. “I think I’m a better human being because of her and my daughter. [I have] something for me to not only to be brave for what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family, because there’s things I’ve done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people, or for culture, in a way. So now, I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect, too.”

When Ye’ went on his infamous interview run in 2013, he went on rants about big corporations not giving him a chance and being blind to the fact that he was a visionary. He says that now he is partnered with Adidas he has more creativity to express himself through fashion.

“There were so many things I wanted to do with film with clothing and I just didn’t have the words or the resources or the backing or the perception that I could do it being I was I was a rapper and all these things. With this Adidas deal they’ve allowed me a little bit of Oxygen. Adidas allowed me to make my own clothing line which is something I wanted to do.”

When it comes to having more kids, Mr. West says “I just want whatever Kim wants.”

Watch the “Only One” video below, which was directed by Spike Jonze and features only Kanye and his daughter North in the middle of a field on a foggy day.

ASAP Rocky Talks Grieving ASAP Yams And His Role In The Film, ‘Dope’

ASAP Rocky is on an emotional roller coaster. He has a supporting role in the most talked about film at the Sundance Film Festival, Dope, but he also lost his best friend ASAP Yams two weeks ago.

In the midst of his grief he sat down for an interview to discuss how he got the role in Dope, which was recently sold to Open Road Films/Sony.

“I was helping Chanel with her lines, and there was one role where I was like, ‘Oh, this dumb kid, he seems a little interesting. I want to go for it,’” Rocky told The New York Times. “I was actually in London recording my album, and I figured I’d just send a video in. So I sent two videos, and they liked them. And two months later, when I flew to L.A., I met up with Rick and did an audition in front of him, and he just decided to go with me. To be honest with you, I was worried that I didn’t get the role. I was pissed.”

The Harlemnite also spoke about the future of his acting career, saying that he wants to earn his props and not be given roles because of who he is.

“I like sci-fi films. I like action-packed thrillers — with, like, conspiracy theories. If I’m starring in a movie, I just want people to understand that I’m not a celebrity trying to use his status to finagle his way into Hollywood, you know? I really want to start from the bottom.”

Flacko spoke about a few words about Yams as well, who was laid to rest earlier this week.

“I miss him,” he said. “Yams was my Yoda. He’s my brother. He left too soon, but I cherished every moment that I knew him.” He continued “All I can tell you is that A$AP Yams was one of the most influential hip-hop pioneers of today. I have him and Danger Mouse executive chef-ing this mystical magical piece that we call art, my music today.”

This isn’t the first time Kanye has worked with non-Hip-Hop artists.
