As you know, Kurupt's anticipated fourth solo album, Streetlights, hit stores last week on April 20, 2010. The west coast heavyweight celebrated the occasion and performed for fans at Specialty Collective, a medicinal marijuana dispensary in North Hollywood. The Streetlights album release party and in-store event was momentous and we have special footage of the extravaganza for you to check out! This may be the first time an album release party and in-store performance was held at a dispensary. Dispensaries have a very strict policy on video cameras, phones, hats and even sunglasses. Kurupt broke all those rules when he stepped into the facility with his crew and cameraman. The place was filled with 4/20 enthusiasts and the smoke was thick! Kurupt performed with Roscoe blessing the crowd with old hits and new songs off Streetlights. Nipsey Hussle showed up to show his support. In addition, an autograph signing followed the performance as Kurupt signed posters/CDs and took photographs with fans. |
