After signing his first record deal out of High School, AWOL Records alumni Laroo has since directed videos, formed his own record label, sold thousands of mixtapes. With his mind back to his first passion (making music) he is preparing to release his latest album titled “The Corporation” on October 14th from E-40’s Sick Wid It Records. His first album on Sick Wid It Records, The Corporation has 6 full music videos attached. The first single titled “20 Bricks” featuring The Jacka has been receiving radio support (106.1 KMEL) and over 500,000 views of the video on YouTube setting the stage for the second single “Put Me On”. Laroo sets the bar for artist to bring the real street element back to the Bay Area. The second single “Money & Power” featuring Keak Da Sneak has seen its own recent string of success since its video has been airing on MTV Jams making Laroo ubiquitous in the local scene throughout 2008. Laroo is the same rapper that brought you the bangin’ albums “Hood Journal” and the classic release “Fear No Fate”, which was on Virgin Records. With such outstanding rave reviews and newfound popularity, the doors are wide open for this young entrepreneur. For Laroo, born Lawrence Dawson, being raised by a single mother of two made him realize that failing is not a option. Signing his first record deal fresh out of high school to the independent label AWOL records home to artist like (Cbo, Killa Tay, Luni Coleone). Since then forming the power independent label Timeless Music Inc, things become a lot more hands on. Take a seat. “The Corporation” lands in stores October 14th. 20 Bricks Video
