Kurtis Blow Discusses The Universal Hip Hop Museum!

Raptalk had the privilege of attending the Universal Hip Hop Museum conference hosted by Microsoft. The event was held in downtown Los Angeles at the J.W. Marriott and it was basically an opportunity for Microsoft and the UHHM to listen to the ideas of fans and hip-hop artists themselves on what the digital museum should include and how it should be presented. After the event, we got some exclusive words from hip-hop icon Kurtis Blow about his involvement in this much needed and long overdue project. Also included are some clips of legendary underground female emcee Medusa, J-Ro of Tha Liks, and UHHM board member Cli-N-Tel of the World Class Wreckin’ Cru.

Also in attendance were King T, DJ Battlecat, promoter Doug Young, Mellow Man Ace, promoter Scotty D, Tomica Woods-Wright, and Grandmaster Lonzo.

A special thank you goes out to Cli-N-Tel, Rocky Bucano and the UHHM for having us there as special guests. I can’t wait to see what the finished product of this digital museum is going to look like.  Watch this exclusive video to get more of an idea of what the Universal Hip Hop Museum is going to be!

Oh, we’ve also got pics! Check the gallery below.
