Travel back to the year 2006 with me when I was known as Styles from WestCoastRydaz. As Suga Free was preparing to release his album “Just Add Water,” I along with DJ Jamar Jackson was able to spend some time in the studio with him up in the Hollywood hills. The interview takes place in the kitchen of the studio so you will see Suga Free scarfing down some pizza as we talk. He actually starts off the conversation by bringing up his then beef with DJ Quik and lets his feelings be known about that. Afterwards, we discuss his then upcoming album and of course the classics off of his Street Gospel album. It’s 18 minutes of Suga Free just being his ol’ pimpin’ self as candid as can be. Enjoy!
